About the Association

The Hong Kong Child and Youth Mental Health Association is a non-profit society established under law, working to integrate community resources and promote the mental health of children and adolescents.

The Association builds a professional psychology platform connecting academic research with applied services — promoting a happier, friendlier and more supportive society through more systematic and more accessible support.

In recent years, mental health concerns among children and adolescents have continued to rise, increasingly appearing at younger ages. Facing academic pressure, family and school expectations, rapid social change, and an explosion of technology and information, children may experience anxiety, emotional distress and uncertainty about identity.

Through professional counselling and family- and community-based activities, we help children and youth build resilience and stronger coping capacity — and, with support from across society, a safer, more inclusive environment full of opportunity.
